Oh, How I hate finishing up a theme!
I have a million ideas left in my head,
but my little girl's interest level has dropped.
So here are a few of the things I would do,
If I could!
The first is from Erica at ABC and 123.
Her children made the great wall of China out of Project Blocks.
Didn't it turn out great!
I was thinking, this would be fun to make with Rice Krispie Treats.
Nicole, over at Mama to 4 Little Blessings,
Has tons of great ideas for a China theme.
She made a lantern, learned about currency, and also made Chinese characters.
Deb, at Living Montessori Now explains
how to get started with a unit.
She has several links and some great ideas!
Here are some other ideas that I found by scouring the Internet.
Check them out on Pinterest!
Thanks for all the wonderful links - and thanks for linking to my post! Also, great job of following your daughter's lead! That's most important - especially with young children. Deb @ LivingMontessoriNow.com
ReplyDeleteLove all the China links. My nephews were born in China so it's a high interest topic at our house. Maybe I can plan a unit around it now that I have all of your resources. thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou can revisit them later. Not only does their attention wane quickly, they can revisit ideas again very soon!
