Do you ever get through a day and wonder,
"What did I do ALL DAY?"
Sometimes I do, and it can be kinda discouraging!

Isn't it so true!
I love the part when she says,
"When yo have young kids your typical day is: constant attention, from getting them out of bed, fed, cleaned, dressed; to keeping them out of harms way; to answering their coos, cries, questions; to having two arms and carrying one kids, one set of car keys, and supplies...to enforcing rest times; to staying one step ahead of them lest they get too hungry, tired or bored..."
Well at least it makes me feel a little better.
When the going gets tough I remind myself that I am feeding them! Yay!
They are dressed!
Yay!
They are happy!
Double Yay!
I really do celebrated the small victories.
Because, whew, this job is exhausting!

ReplyDeleteGreat article! I used to wonder the same thing when I was single. I thought some of my friends with kids hated me because they never emailed back or it took a month. But then I had kids and a single friend asked the same thing! Now I finally get it! :)
